Meeting in a small group format, the Recovery and Support Ministries of the Island Christian Church provide a safe, confidential setting that fosters faith development and healing.  Groups are now meeting for the autumn session.  Registration is required for S.O.S. and DivorceCare but not for R&R.

A PLACE TO SHARE THE TRUTH AND CONNECT WITH GOD

R&R (Rest and Recovery)
A group for men struggling with addiction or other serious issues (no sign-up required).  We meet at the church on Tuesday nights at 7 pm.

 

S.O.S. (Sisters of Strength)
A meeting for women who are or have family members struggling with addiction or crisis issues (sign-up required).

Confidential, informal meetings are held at the East Northport campus on Tuesday evenings* at 7PM (Refreshments at 6:30 PM) Sign-up is required for S.O.S. There is no childcare provided. Please call the church for details.  

 

Divorce Care
SHARING THE PAIN, ANGER AND LOSS OF A MARRIAGE.....& MOVING FORWARD

A place to share and seek to allow God to heal the past, help in the present and give hope for the future.  This group starts on a specific date and meets for thirteen weeks. Please call the church regarding the schedule.  We are currently running this group. 

 

GriefShare: Grief and Bereavement Group

A confidential meeting for those struggling with the loss of a loved one, whether recent or sometime in the past.   This group is not currently meeting but check back for an updated schedule.  Pre-registration is required.

MSM - Military Support Ministries

Prayer support for our men and women in uniform. Using photos of our service people on prayer cards, we distribute their name and face to those who wish to commit to praying for a particular serviceperson. Contact the church office or Pastor Steve Bayne for more details.
