It is our mission at Northport Baptist Church to help people grow in their relationship with our Lord and connect with one another. We are dedicated to worshipping God in spirit and truth, teaching and proclaiming God's Word and making disciples - all for the glory of God!
Here at Northport Baptist Church, every believer can grow to maturity more consistently when they choose to belong to a small group. Small groups are the basic units for Christian community. They are places where, with Christ at the center, we interact with God's truth, enjoy fellowship, reach others with the Gospel and support one another in practical ways and in prayer. This is where we pursue Christ together and our lives are touched and transformed by His love through one another.
Our small group ministry is designed to meet people where they are in their Christian life. Whether you need a support group, are interested in taking an adult Bible class, or would like to join a group that is studying a particular topic, you will find an opportunity to connect with others and help you grow in your faith.

LIFE Groups
What are LIFE Groups all about?
Loving God and One Another
Investing in the Kingdom of God
Finding Purpose
Evangelizing our Community
In your LIFE Group, you will build authentic relationships and grow in your faith. This is where we mutually challenge and encourage one another to truly live out the Gospel with each other and with those with spiritual and physical needs. These groups meet from September through June and meet from home-to-home.
Growth Groups
Growth groups are centered on a particular topic of study for believers to grow in their faith, such as The Truth Project, Experiencing God as well as groups that strengthen marriages and families. These groups generally run for a semester of approximately 12-14 weeks, depending on the curriculum and generally meet in homes unless otherwise noted.
Focus Groups
Focus groups are support groups that deal with life issues, such as grief and bereavement, divorce recovery and addiction recovery. Members of these groups can share with one another in their time of difficulty, share their burdens and move forward together toward healing and restoration. These groups meet at the church.
