Northport Baptist Church Frequency Asked Questions

What time do services start?
We have two services, starting at 9am and 11am.

What should I wear?
We do not have a dress code; we want everyone to feel welcome regardless of what they have to wear. We do encourage both men and women to dress modestly, meaning nothing too revealing.

What is the music like?
We have a contemprary style of music during our worship time at the beginning of each service, occasionally mixed in are hymns and traditional songs.

Do I have to give an offering?
Visitors are not expected to give money, only to fill out a visitor card and drop it in the plate as your offering. We do believe in tithing, in fact the church is supported by the tithes and offerings of its members. However, as the Scriptures state, we expect our church members to give freely out of their own hearts, for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

Do you have activities for the whole family?
Yes! We have Sunday school for children, grades K-8, both services-and wonderful nursery and toddler facilities.
