The Family Night Plan is a unique way of allowing you to participate with your kids at Kid Stuf the first Wednesday of the month, then on the other Wednesdays, while they enjoy fun club programs (Pioneer Girls and Brigade for boys), You can take advantage of courses and small groups that are designed to help build parental skills, marriages, careers and more!

KidStuf

You're invited to join us for Kid Stuf, a creative monthly production of music, drama and storytelling designed to create a fun, upbeat atmosphere for kids K-6th grade and their parents. Our goal is to establish an environment where learning about faith and character issues can be fun and relevant for families. We want to help parents lead their children spiritually. Kid Stuf is the first Wednesday of each month during the school year at 7PM!

Pioneer Girls

Pioneer Girls is a fun, safe place where girls:
Build friendships
Study, Memorize, and Apply God’s Word to their lives
Learn important life skills
Sing songs and play games
Engage in skill building activities
Have a great time—all in a fun-loving, friendly environment

Pioneer Girls is for girls age 4 through 6th grade!
Scooter - 4 &5 year olds
Voyagers -1st & 2nd graders
Pathfinders -3rd& 4th graders.
Trailblazers -5th and 6th graders.

Christian Service Brigade

Is a Father lead ministry to equip boys to be men of God.
Tree Climbers –provides a regular time just for Dads and their sons K-2nd grade. They meet for games , crafts, scripture memorization, and stories! It’s a great place for fathers and sons to build a strong foundation for life and have a great time together!
Stockade–is for boys 3rd-6th grade. It is an action packed program where boys play games, build friendships, learn and apply God’s Word to their lives, learn important life skills, have opportunities to serve the community, and receive recognition for personal achievements.

Parents:

While your children attend Pioneers/ Brigade, you can choose form a selection of adult courses designed to help you improve parenting skill, marriage relationships, or work place effectiveness.

Sunday School

Sundays 9  & 11 am

27 Months –3 Year Olds 

Our two and three year old class allows even the littlest ones to hear about God and to learn about the world around them.  It teaches basic truths from the Bible through hands-on activities, animated Bible stories, various related crafts,   motion-filled songs and playtime. We teach children about the love of Jesus and how to get along with others. This class meets on the lower level at the beginning of each service.

4 & 5 Year Olds

This class offers a variety of activities including an interactive Bible story time, singing, creative crafts, challenging games and outdoor playtime (weather permitting).  The children are taught the truth from the Bible and how they can put it into practice at home and with others. This class meets in our preschool building through the right set of doors and begins at the start of each service.

“Promise Land”

Sundays 9 am & 11 am

1st Grade through 6th Grade*

In our Sunday School program for elementary students- Promise Land, kids meet friends and get to know God through an exciting time of worship, Bible stories and small group time.  The 3 basic truths emphasized are: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated. We encourage parents to commit to one service so that their child can build a relationship with his/her small group leader and circle of friends. 

We believe there are 5 things that every kid needs to grow spiritually:

1. there’s a really big God
2. someone else who believes what they believe
3. another voice that says the same things their parents say
4. nosey parents who make it their business to know where their kids are spiritually
5. uncommon sense to help them make wise choices

Classes for Pre-K and Kindergarten children start at the beginning of the service; older students remain with their parents during worship and are dismissed to their classes after the pastoral prayer.

*6th Grade has the option to attend Promise Land or Middle School Classes

Middle School Classes

Sundays 9 am & 11 am 

Our Middle School classes are designed to help and encourage teens to explore their faith through Bible study, group discussion and life application. Young men and women meet separately. Their classes are dismissed from the main service after the worship time.

Nursery

Infants & Toddlers

Our nursery supervisors and staff are committed to ministering to the families of the church by providing a safe, enjoyable environment and loving, personal care for your little ones.  This ministry enables parents to participate in the church service without having to attend to the immediate needs of their children.  Our well-child policy and thorough clean-up procedures ensure a healthy place for your children.  We have separate nurseries for infants and toddlers.  Nursery care is provided for all regularly scheduled services of the church (Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings), as well as most special services and seminars.  Our nursery facilities are located on the lower level of the Christian Life Center, just below the main lobby.

This summer, bring your kids to SonQuest Rainforest VBS - an experience of discovery they'll never forget!  Based on five key Bible verses that will change a child's life - including John 3:16 - SonQuest Rainforest VBS transports young minds into a vivid rainforest environment of jungle sounds, sights and smells, where they dig into the Bible and meet Jesus in every day's story.  Our VBS is for children entering kindergarten through 7th grade and promises to be the best one yet! 

Time: 9:30 AM to 12 Noon

Ages: Children entering K through 7th grade

Cost: FREE!

TIME TO REGISTER FOR FALL 2010!

Our school is more than ABC's and 123's! We teach social skills, character development and Bible curriculum. We help bring your child's faith ALIVE!! 3-year old classes and 4-year old pre-K classes available. Call 631-368-5966 for an application brochure or to arrange for a class visit!

In harmony with the home, Northport Christian Preschool provides a quality educational program in an environment which nurtures Christ-like character. Children are invited to explore the world around them in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. Our Long Island preschool offers small classes in a sunny, beautiful environment. The Preschool has a full academic curriculum coupled with art, music and gymnastics.  Our story time, dramatic play, crafts, and hands-on activities allow the children to discover God's love through His Word, the Bible.  We make learning a joyful experience!
