It is the hope of Island Christian Church (formerly Northport Baptist Church - read more...) to help people grow in their relationship with our Lord and connect with one another. We are dedicated to worshipping God in spirit and truth, teaching and proclaiming God’s Word and making disciples - all for the Glory of God!
We are a Bible-believing church where all who know and love the Lord, or who are honestly seeking Him, can worship, fellowship, learn and serve.

Come join the fun at Kidstuf!
You're invited to join us for Kidstuf, a creative weekly production of music, drama, and storytelling designed to create a fun, upbeat atmosphere for kids K-6th grade AND their parent. Our goal is to establish an environment where learning about faith and character issues can be fun and relevant for families throughout the week. There's a Family Cafe immediately following.

The American Heritage Scholarship
Island Christian Church wishes to promote genuine character development in the youth of our community. While the church has a very active youth ministry and outreach, it is our desire to reach beyond the confines of our church community to the community-at-large, in order to recognize and reward young people of proven and genuine character. The American Heritage Scholarship is awarded to two graduating seniors, one male and one female, for Long Island students whose lives exemplify genuine character and promote the Scriptural values upon which our country was founded. Two $1,500 scholarships and up to four $500 High Honorable Mention scholarships will be awarded - the latter regardless of gender.

Courageous - The Movie
Island Christian Church will be showing the movie Courageous on February 18th at 7 pm in our sanctuary on the big screen. This is a great opportunity to bring your friends and family since the showing will be FREE! If you missed it when it was in the theaters, now is the time to see this amazing movie about faith, courage and the call to fatherhood.

God is doing exciting things in Nicaragua and we have had the privilege to be a part of it. He is using us to reach into the lives of children and adults in some of the poorest areas of the world.
