The American Heritage Scholarship

It is our desire as a church to promote genuine character development in the youth of our community. While the church has a very active youth ministry and outreach, it is our desire to reach beyond the confines of our church community, to the community-at-large, in order to recognize and reward young people of proven and genuine character. The American Heritage Scholarship is awarded to two graduating seniors, one male and one female, for Long Island students whose lives exemplify genuine character and promote the Scriptural values upon which our country was founded.

Our congregation has awarded the scholarship for several years, and we wish to continue for the Class of 2010. Please inform any graduating seniors of this scholarship opportunity. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.  Two $1,500 scholarships and up to four $250 High Honorable Mention scholarships will be awarded – the latter regardless of gender.

All required nominations and recommendations must be mailed by March 12, 2010. Applications postmarked after this date will not be considered. All email correspondence must be sent by Noon of March 12.  Applications can be downloaded below.
